About Us

Sunset Digital Library is the multimedia archive of Sunset International Bible Institute.

Sunset International Bible Institute was founded in 1962 as Sunset School of Preaching. Since then, men and women have been coming to Lubbock, Texas to be taught by our great Bible teachers, missionaries, and gospel preachers. Beginning about 1970, recordings have been made of classes, workshops, forums, and sermons presented in the School of Preaching and the Sunset Church of Christ. The Sunset Digital Library brings that archive together in one place.

The library consists of a website and mobile apps giving access to almost every class, message, and sermon delivered at Sunset that has been recorded. Many printed study guides and outlines are also available for reading. Because of generous donors and supporters of Sunset, this access is free of charge to everyone who uses it.

We will continue to add resources over time. While the largest portion is in English, the archive also includes materials in American Sign Language and Spanish, and captions are being added in Portuguese, French, Russian, Ukrainian, Chinese, and Arabic.

Just a few of the many English teachers from the Sunset faculty included are Richard Rogers, Ed Wharton, Cline Paden, Gerald Paden, Truman Scott, Truitt Adair, Abe Lincoln, Richard Baggett, Ted Kell, Jim McGuiggan, Nat Cooper, and Ted Stewart.
